The all new Midwest Phoenix™ ZR has a larger head - 11.9mm diameter by 13mm height - designed to provide the extra power needed to cut through modern materials like solid zirconia crowns. The deeper chuck is ideal for accommodating side load force from 25mm length burs and the DLC coated ceramic bearings are protected by a dynamic speed control feature in the head. At nominal pressure the free speed is limited to approximately 370000 rpm. A titanium coating on grip and sheath enhance tactile control while also maximizing scratch and chemical resistance. Available in standard Midwest and K-style coupler options.
